Damona Hoffman, aka “Dear Mrs. D”, was an early adopter of the online dating trend in 2001. At the time she was working in television casting for CBS and teaching courses at night for actors on auditioning and marketing techniques. Susana holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from California State University Long Beach. She majored in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources Management. Currently, Susana is Director of Human Resources at Miramax. Prior to that, she was Senior Manager at Game Show Network, Staffing Manager at Universal Studios and Head of Staffing and Diversity Outreach for MTV Networks. Susana started her entertainment career at Sony Pictures Entertainment in their Human Resources department. Upon graduation, she worked at the Precept Group (a Benefits Consulting firm) in Newport Beach, CA. April Powers

April Powers is the Managing Director of First Impression Rx, a full service consulting firm that helps companies manage differences through training and diversity and inclusion strategy. She has been consulting for Amgen since 2010, most recently project managing a cultural dexterity roll-out and delivering certified training in the areas of Generational Diversity, Emotional Intelligence and Cultural Competence.

April began her recruiting career with Ryan, Miller & Associates, a boutique search firm specializing in accounting and finance. In 1999 she launched her own recruiting firm that focused on middle market and fortune 500 companies. She also helped staff and recruit for smaller start-up companies during the dot-com boom.

In 2005, she joined Nestlé USA as an in-house recruiter where her passion for diversity recruiting was recognized. She was soon asked to be the Manager of Diversity and Recruiting for Nestlé USA. Sheryl Bender

Nancy Buvinger has served as Human Resources Director for 2-1-1 LA County since 2007. Nancy has over 16 years of human resources management experience in multiple for profit and non-profit industries. Darlene Cohen
