Joshua Fredenburg

President/Founder of the Circle of Change Leadership Conference

Dr. Joshua Fredenburg is a Nationally Acclaimed Speaker, Author of SIx Books, Tedx Speaker, and President/Founder of the ‘Award Winning Circle of Change Leadership Experience that specializes in helping student leaders discover the leader from within, develop the leadership skills necessary to serve and lead diverse groups of people effectively, and the inspiration and courage to become a leader that makes a positive impact in their community, nation, and world!

For the past fourteen years, Joshua has not only served as a keynote speaker in 47 states across the nation, but he has transformed the lives of thousands of people as a keynote speaker, workshop presenter, trainer, and facilitator at different conferences, retreats, training, graduations, and events.

In addition to a successful speaking career, Joshua obtained a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Biola University in 2008, received his Doctoral Degree in Organizational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University in June of 2019, has appeared on various television/radio shows, and is the leader and founder of a leadership movement that impacts student leaders each year in Los Angeles, California and New York City, and has reached a total of 1,700 plus student leaders from more 100 universities and colleges over the past nine years.

In 2018, Joshua received an honorary membership from Golden Key International, was recognized as a Top leader under 40 in South Florida in 2017, had his national leadership conference selected by the NASPA (Student Affair Professionals in Higher Education) Student Leadership Programs Knowledge Community as the “Top Student Leadership Development Program for 2015”, and he received a community leadership award from the Urban League Young Professionals of Los Angeles for his work in developing the next generation of leaders in 2013.

 


Natalie Fajardo

Director of Logistics

Natalie Fajardo Is a Student Affairs professional currently working at the University of Arizona as the Coordinator of Asian Pacific American Student Affairs (APASA).  Their higher education experiences include: peer advising, student activities, and diversity education. Asian identity development and Diversity and Inclusion Excellence are two areas of interest. They received their Master of Science degree from the University of Central Missouri’s College Student Personnel Administration (CSPA) program. They also hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences from California State University-San Bernardino.


Leo Young

Director of Leadership Coaches/Curriculum

Leo Young is originally from the great state of Texas, but is also a proud Californian; currently managing the University Conference Center at Cal State Fullerton. Leo earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Educational Administration with a concentration in Student Affairs from Texas A&M University. Leo has served, advised, and consulted with student organizations and the University Programming Board at Georgia Southern University, and has managed the summer conference program and operations at San Jose State University. With a developed skillset in student organization development, event planning and risk management, Leo loves advising students and serving student groups from a Strengths-based perspective to develop tomorrow’s leaders. In his current role at Cal State Fullerton, Leo is working to enhance how students engage with and develop from the event planning process.

Leo aspires to embody servant leadership as he influences society as a catalyst for positive change. He is a devoted and loving husband to his wonderful wife and an outdoor enthusiast (rock climbing, backpacking, camping, hiking, etc.). Ultimately, Leo dedicates his life to being a faith-centered, values-driven, strengths-based human that spreads love, development, and joy in the lives of others.

 


Michoo Etienne

Director of Talent Relations

Michoo Etienne is a first generation college graduate, who received her Master’s degree in Healthcare Management from Davenport University. She received her Undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science at the University of South Florida. With aspiration to pursue a career in healthcare administration, she hopes to inspire strong character development and leadership within our healthcare system.


Hing Potter

Associate Director of Leadership Coaches

Hing Potter is transracial-transnational Cambodian-US adoptee currently serving as an assistant director for student services at Northeastern-San Francisco, Silicon Valley wherehe advises student clubs and organizations, helps to develop and support leadership initiatives, and is involved with campus-wide programming. In his seven years as a student affair professional, he’s had the privilege of working in residence life, orientation programs, admissions and campus life. He is involved in NASPA, a student affairs organization, volunteering in leadership roles on the Parent & Family Relations and Multi-Racial Knowledge Communities.
Hing is continues to work with community volunteer opportunities and has served on several local and national political campaigns. Over the past several years, Hing has additionally hosted Social Justice 101 workshops for community organizations and college classrooms helping others to develop a foundational understanding of social justice in the United States. During his free time, Hing is a freelance photographer and likes to travel to at least one new place each year. He received his B.A. from Boise State University in international relations and a masters in higher education administration from Northeastern University.


Michael Flotron

Director of Video Production

Michael Flotron is an eclectic in the world of filmmaking and brings both his creative and technical skills to the table in all productions he’s a part of. He produces feature films, shorts, and corporate content but also brings expertise in live-to-air and live-to-web productions for small businesses in the evolving ecosystem of online content.

Outside of Producing, Michael is a Camera Department specialist with years of experience as a Camera Operator, 1st AC, Gimbal Operator, and is an FAA Licensed Drone Operator.

After Typhoon Haiyan in 2013, Michael volunteered for a month in the Philippines to spearhead “Mission of Peace”, a documentary bringing awareness and supporting social justice causes in the area.

Michael grew up in Southern California and considers himself fortunate to be surrounded by creative and entrepreneurially minded people. His parents have both travelled the world through their own professions, making him acutely aware of the importance of cross-culture collaboration in creative worlds.

Some of his recent work includes Dragon Ball Z: Light of Hope (2017), Power Rangers: Shattered Grid (2018), and Circle of Change Leadership Conference which is currently on its 11th year.

Portland, Oregon is where Michael currently calls home, but he foresees a journey that will take him to many corners of the world.


Pete Parker

Director of CareerFEST

Pete has spent his entire career as a non-profit management professional. He has helped community organizations raise nearly $30,000,000 to meet capital, endowment and operational goals. Pete is owner of NPcatalyst, a small non-profit consulting firm, which has impacted hundreds of charitable organizations by providing board development, public awareness, branding, community engagement, and funding solutions. Similar to success he’s found as co-founder of Greek Ladders, his accomplishments all relate to building long-lasting relationships, identifying opportunities, and creating solutions.


BK

Director of Marketing

Bakeisha (BK) McCall is originally from Albany, N. Currently residing in the beautiful sunshine state of California. Following a crippling childhood accident, BK had to endure learning how to re-walk again. She was left with metal pins in both of her upper legs to hold her bones together. Following the accident, BK faced depression and attempted suicide on multiple occasions.

She turned to food for comfort and friendship. Going from 175 pounds, to at her highest weight of 410 pounds.Knowing that she was close to death if she didn’t take care of her weight, in 2016 BK decided to take her fitness journey seriously and received help from her trainer to lose the unwanted pounds. Changing her eating habits and exercising twice a day,she went from 410 pounds to 175 pounds with no magic pills, no surgeries, no gimmicks…. just hard work.

BK is now a certified personal trainer, member of the Circle of Change Leadership Team, and a health and fitness coach.


LeAnna Mouton

Logistics Coordinator

Leanna Mouton is a first-generation honors graduate of Texas State University where she was awarded a BBA in Management with a minor in communication and honors studies.

While working on her undergraduate degree,she served as a Student Regent for The Texas State University System, President of Student Foundation, McCoy College Ambassador, and Residential Advisor.

During her time in school, she volunteered with the Circle of Change Leadership Experience, studied and worked abroad in both Barcelona, Spain and San Jose, Costa Rica, and interned for Disney and the White House.

Currently, Leanna is also working with the Special Olympics as well.


Ben Chambers

Director of Event Sound and Lighting

Ben is an AV Director with 18 years of experience in Audio Visual in corporate settings and church ministry as well as live events. He also has experience in Television and Film in lighting, sound, locations and producing as well as radio in field production and sound.
